GENERAL INFORMATION
Respyrénées is a family agency specialising in walking tours in the Pyrenees (particularly in the Basque Country and along the GR10). We offer tours that reflect who we are, with a variety of activities: walking, cycling, snowshoeing and trail running
Whether you’re travelling alone, as a couple, with friends or with family, find the tour that suits you best: guided hikes, self-guided hikes or even tailor-made trips.

BEFORE YOUR STAY
Guided walking | You will join a group of 4 and 15 people, depending on the dates agreed in advance. The hike is led by a certified guide specializing in the Pyrenees, who will share their knowledge with you. Choosing a group hike also means embracing the spirit of togetherness: you’ll follow the guide and keep in step with the group in a friendly atmosphere. During these trips, we take care of booking accommodation and meals, as well as transporting luggage where necessary. | |
Self-guided hike | You travel alone (see FAQ: I want to travel alone) or with your friends and family, on the date of your choice. Without a guide, you walk at your own pace and explore the routes at your leisure using IGN maps, a GPS app, GPS tracks (on request) and a topo guide provided before your departure. As a guided tour, we’ll take care of booking your accommodations and the transport of your luggage, which you’ll find waiting for you every evening (depending on the option you’ve chosen). During your hike, our support team is available to answer any questions you may have and, if necessary, provide useful advice to ensure your trip goes well. |
DURING YOUR STAY
As soon as you have paid the balance of your booking, you will receive your confirmation email stating your meeting point and the relevant contact details.
For self-guided tour: you will also receive the itinerary for your trip, including a list of accommodation and transport providers, the PDF roadbook and access to the route on our GPS app.
You will then receive your paper travel pack by post, or at your first accommodation of your stay : IGN maps of the route, a paper roadbook, an itinerary for your trip, and luggage tags.
AFTER YOUR STAY
Once your trip has ended, you will receive an email inviting you to share your experience. As your satisfaction is our top priority, your feedback enables us to constantly improve the quality of our trips (from booking follow-up and your relationship with your travel adviser, to your travel documents, guide, itinerary, accommodation and more).
You can also leave a review directly on our website by going to the relevant stay listing and clicking on the link at the bottom of the page: "Write a review". All you need to do is rate your stay on a scale of 1 to 5 stars and share your feedbacks with us.
