It was very nice to come across Delphine in Lescun and it’s true that I had a really wonderful trip! Thanks to the Respyrenees team for all the great organisation - everything was always expertly arranged and all the accommodation, planning and food were excellent. The only things that could have been better would be to not get sick and to have had better weather….but those are entirely out of your control and I suppose are all part of adventures in the mountains :)

Just to say the trip was all good as usual and all the transfers worked well and efficiently. We want to shout out for the Ferme de Florence in Vielle Aure, whose hospitality was excellent and food well above the average as well as being the only place, so far, along the GR10 where our clothes have been washed and dried! My daughters (aged 16 and 20) did a 4 day hike in the Arriege staying in mountain huts. It was challenging but they really enjoyed it. There was a problem in that one of the refuges charged them for the evening meal despite it having been paid for in advance. Respyrenees sorted this out immediately on their return. This is the second time we have used Respyrenees and we have have really positive experiences both times.

We had a wonderful holiday, thanks. The organisation was very smooth, and all the bag transfers and taxi pick-ups were perfect. The scenery was amazing everywhere we went. Some of the hikes were long and a bit tiring, but we really enjoyed the challenge. We’re already thinking about next year!

I am writing to you from the Eurostar on the way back to the UK. I just want to take a moment to pass on my heartfelt thanks to you and your colleagues at Respyrénées for helping me realise my GR dream. It truly was a beautiful project and I was amazed at how smoothly the logistics went and thought everything from the App to the accommodation was of the highest standard. It truly is a magnificent walk and I hope the first of several I will take in the Pyrenees, for which I would definitely return to Respyrénées. Merci beacoup. Very best

My third year on the GR10 adventure with Respyrenees organised brilliantly as always by Gaëtan. A challenge for sure but worth every step, every decision, every breath and bead of sweat! Spectacular scenery, super accommodation, great ethos, excellent food. I walked alone but I met the best of people, got the warmest of welcomes and was ably supported by Respyrenees/Gaëtan along the way. I’d absolutely recommend them and the adventure. Roll on next year!

Firstly the Pyrenees are spectacular and all the walks were wonderful. The only criticism here have was that your length of each walk was not the same as our gps! meaning that we did many more kilometres! The accommodation was simple but each host was unique and kind. Cauterets was a great base and we all loved this town. The dinner meals at all accommodations offered were simple hearty and delicious. The breakfasts at all accommodation except for Gavernie were very basic and a bit disappointing. But we accepted it as the norm. The transfers were excellent and the bus drivers were lovely. All said and done we had a fantastic time and a great holiday.

This year we were two and again walked self guided. We were provided with marked up maps and we used the app as we walked for a bit of additional security! Everything went to plan and in the event of a query - an email to Gaetan was answered swiftly and helpfully. We had a super time - the accommodation worked well and the food was good and plentiful. When we arrived each evening at our accommodation the word Respyreness always provoked a huge smile and a great welcome. I'm looking forward to next year and continuing the GR10 with the support of Gaetan and the Respyrenees team. A joy from start to finish.
